In the shop we have a store within a store. Our "Tobermory Tackle Corner" stocks all the fishing tackle you need for Mull. Bait, flies, lures, line, hooks, reels, rods, nets, tackle boxes, weights, bags and so on.
Tackle and Books also has many products to help you enjoy the outdoor adventure of wild Mull from Binoculars to working knives and if you're worried about getting lost we have a full range of maps, guide books and walking compasses to accompany you.

Angling from Mull is very weather dependent with every day on often a different season. In light winds or calm seas head out in a boat. For a gale tuck yourself into one of the many sheltered, rocky shore marks. Our hill lochs can have some wonderful brown trout and a bit of a breeze gives perfect conditions. The day after monsoon rains bring a big spate is the perfect opportunity to catch a salmon or silver sea trout.

For forty years Tackle and Books has been advising visiting anglers what marks are fishing well and the best baits to use. We love nothing more that passing on the latest information on hot spots and local lunkers caught. Although not able to guarantee the fish but we'll do our very best to help.
